2008 is a while to wait to start watching another show... A new friend of mine is passing a few shows along to me, namely Space Above and Beyond ( www.imdb.com/title/tt0112173/) and Jeremiah ( www.imdb.com/name/nm0833089/). He says they're quite good, and his name is also Paul , so I have high hopes for the shows.

Is there any word on who would air them yet? I would think that just about any network would crave the opportunity to tap into the Star Wars fans' desire to continue the saga.
Regarding Space: Above and Beyond, it's a pretty cool show that basically ended before its time. Yeah, the effects can be kind of cheesy, but then again, it was the mid-90's, when people were just starting to see CG as a viable special effects alternative. Yeah, it's higher quality CG than B5, but it still looks kind of dated. However, the characters are interesting enough, and the stories entertaining enough that you don't really care that much after a while.

well, i'm not exactly holding my breath (and we can only hope for some more quailty sci-fi to hit the airwaves until then)- the shield has taken over for the moment- with it's gritty-hard-hitting-cop-action.
But either way- go Star Wars!
